The enduring appeal of the Italian Wine Culture has struck a chord with the Chinese delegation led by Mr Mou Fengjing, as the President of CQ Satellite TV Channel News and Radio Traffic. In adding the Italian wine community to the Chinese media landscape, Mou Fengjing and delegation members met the Institute of Life Sciences faculty to learn about the  postgraduate course “Italian Way of Wine (IWW)” offered by Sant’Anna School.

As well as running the IWW training program, as a higher education institution promoting excellence and teaching across the sectors of wine industry in Italy, Sant’Anna School offers master’s courses and training opportunities in cooperation with Associazione italiana sommelier (AIS), the University of Pisa, the University of Siena and the University for Foreigners of Siena.

Professor Nicola Bellini of the Institute of Management presented the Master Program “Italian Wines and Global Markets” designed for winemakers, wine sellers, consultants, sommeliers and wine Ambassadors.

The Chongqing TV network delegation will visit wineries and vineyards across Italy and shoot videos for coverage on their news stations and in media. A powerful medium for telling Italian stories to Chinese audiences.
